The Development on the Scaled Engine Test Equipment for the Verification of the Signal-Based FDT Algorithm

초록

This paper describes the scaled engine test equipment for the verification of the signal-based FDT algorithm. The components of the test equipment were selected considering respective specifications in order to obtain similar results to the real engine. In this paper, two types of malfunctions were performed; propeller imbalance and engine misfire. Vibration signals of malfunctions were analyzed comparing with those of normal operation. This method is expected to be alble to verify the signal-based FDT algorithm without real engine tests which are highly risky and costly.
