항공사 승무원의 용모 규정 완화가 심리적 웰빙 및 긍정적 업무 태도에 미치는 영향

초록

This research was conducted to understand a phenomenon in the introduction stage of relaxing appearance regulations for flight attendants and to analyze the casual relationship between independent and dependent variables. A study model was first hypothesized and then tested six positive effects on relaxing appearance regulations, and empirically discovered the positive impact on psychological well-being that can lead to an increase of positive work attitude. In order to empirically analyze the proposed model, 250 flight attendants working for Korean airline companies were surveyed from August to September 2019. The collected questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS Statistics 22.0 statistics program and AMOS program. Statistical analysis for hypothesis testing showed that the four core factors included protection of privacy, alleviation of fatigue, improvement of gender equality, and enhancement of autonomy out of the six indicated positive effects on psychological well-being and positive work attitude. In contrast, safety and health improvement did not have positive effects on psychological well-being. In addition, the causal relationship between psychological well-being and positive work attitude showed significant results. Based on the above results, this research suggests useful implications for theoretical and practical use. Also, research limitations and future research directions are presented.
