북한 문학교육의 사회교육적 양상에 관한 연구 -『청년문학』을 중심으로 -

초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the social educational aspects of literary education in North Korea under the administration of Kim, Jong-eun by analyzing 『Cheongnyeon Munhak』, a North Korean literary magazine targeting adolescent readers in the regime. The educational goal of North Korea is to bring up communist-type individuals needed to maintain the regime and do the propaganda according to the socialist education thesis of Kim, Il-sung. It is literature that has performed its functions as an essential instrument to attain the goal. North Korea makes its efforts in the dimension of social education as well as school education in order to achieve the educational goal. In North Korea, social education is usually provided by a network of schools, social culture agencies, and related agencies, which mainly use a literary magazine as one of their educational media. In the regime, all magazines are published by the party including 『Joseon Munhak』, 『Children Munhak』 and 『Cheongnyeon Munhak』 of which 『Cheongnyeon Munhak』 mainly targets young people aged 14∼30 and publishes the works of professional writers and common adolescents and also professional writers' criticisms of works by common adolescents, thus drawing attention in the area of literary education. The present study reviewed the literary works published in monthly 『Cheongnyeon Munhak』 from January, 2012 to December, 2014 by the genres and topics and examined the works published in the magazine by the genres, percentage of topic, and aspects and the forms and discourses of literary education provided to adolescents in North Korea.
