의사소통역량에 대한 대학생의 교육요구도 분석

초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the educational needs for communication capacity (interpretive, social role, self, goal, and message) by comparing how students evaluate their current communication competency and what do students think is the most crucial in communication competency. Five-hundred and sixty undergraduate students completed the survey. The result of Borich's need assessment showed that the students identified goal competency as the most needed one, then message competency, social role competency, interpretive competency, and self competency. In addition, the result of Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) identified that goal competency stands at a low level currently in which requires further improvement in the future, and message and interpretive competencies stand at a high level currently in which requires maintenance. This study result could be utilized as a basic data for the future educational curriculum development for improving undergraduate students’ communication capacity.
