초록

This paper presents a shared-radiator phased-array magneto-electric (ME) dipole antenna for in-band full-duplex (IBFD) 6G communication systems. The proposed antenna achieves wide bandwidth, high isolation, and wide-angle beam scanning while maintaining a compact structure. A broadband dual-polarized ME dipole element is implemented using a baffle and a two-layer substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) differential feeding structure. The baffle generates monopole-like surface currents along its vertical edges, which broaden the half-power beamwidth (HPBW). In addition, a bridge structure is introduced in the array configuration to reduce mutual coupling and improve the isolation between co-polarized ports by more than 5 dB. As a result, the proposed antenna operates over 7–10 GHz (35.3%) and provides more than 44 dB isolation between cross-polarized ports, while the isolation between co-polarized ports is maintained above 17 dB. The reduction of mutual coupling provided by the bridge structure enables beam scanning up to ±50°. These results demonstrate that the proposed antenna is a promising candidate for compact IBFD-based 6G communication systems.
