노인 여가 제약에 관한 주관성 연구: 노인주거복지시설의 거주노인을 대상으로

초록

The population of seniors tends to increase all over the world. Thus, this study has performed analysis on seniors’ leisure constraints for seniors residing in elderly residential facility by Q methodology for individual subjectivity. The research was from October 19th to November 17th, 2013 at elderly residential facilities, which are operated by Catholic organization, located in Seoul, Suwon, and Jeonju. As the result, there were four types of leisure constraints for seniors residing in elderly residential facilities. The first type is ‘absence of voluntary participation in leisure activities’. Those of this typehave trust for religious leaders; they would passionately participate in leisure activity if the religious leaders recommend so. The second type is ‘constraint due to discomfort of body’, feeling constrained with their indisposed bodies. The third type is ‘dissatisfaction in leisure programs’ Although those in this type enjoy leisure activities, they feel constrained with lack of diverse programs. Lastly, the fourth type is ‘constraint due to external factors’. Those in this type have leisure constraint because of weather, space, and facility.
