Effect of Recombination and Ionization on the Deduction of Flow Velocity in Magnetized Plasmas

For the analysis of atomic processes such as recombination and ionization in the divertor plasmas, a new fluid model on the ion collection to a probing object in magnetized plasma is developed including electron-ion recombination, molecular activated recombination and ionization. Applicability to the Mach probe data of the Divertor Plasma Simulator(DiPS) with lower magnetic field (about 1 kG) and to those of the tokamak edge plasmas with higher magnetic field (about 10 kG) will be mentioned.
