Cardiovascular disease is one of the leading causes of death in recent days and appropriate delivery of heat shock protein 27 is one promising approach for treatment of myocardial infarction, as Hsp27 is known to recover cell viability by inhibiting apoptotic activation of caspases-9 and caspase-3.
