남녀 중학생의 또래괴롭힘 가해, 피해 가능성에 영향 미치는 심리적 특성들의 구조모형 검증

초록

This study aimed to investigate the relationship among social anxiety, irrational belief, aggression, and types of bullying. Further, the study examined the structural model of psychological variables affecting types of bullying by gender. The survey response of 383 middle school students in A area were analyzed in this study. Descriptive statistics analysis and multi-group structural equation modeling were conducted. The findings of this study were as follows: First, social anxiety was positively related to likelihood of victims, irrational belief, aggression were positively related to likelihood of bulling, victims. Second, It was likelihood of bullying, social anxiety was positively related to likelihood of victims. In addition, aggression worked as a mediator of explaining the relationship between irrational belief and likelihood of bullies in male sample. On the other hand, It was observed for female students that irrational belief and aggression were positively related to likelihood of bullying, social anxiety was positively related to likelihood of victims. Aggression worked as a mediator of explaining the relationship between irrational belief and likelihood of bullies, social anxiety and type of bullies in female sample. Psychological characteristics and the process affecting bulling could be addressed by this article. And limitations and implications of subsequent further study were suggested in this research.
