미디어융합디자인을 통한 자유학기제 창의진로교육 프로그램의 효과 -전국 7개 중학교 시범운영사례 적용을 중심으로-

초록

The purpose of this study was to develop a creative career education program available for school education through media-convergence design, and to examine its effectiveness on creativity and career maturity. It's basically meant to ensure the successful implementation of a test-free semester program introduced in 2016. The program was theoretically based on the OECD(1997)'s DeSeCo(tThe Definition and Selection of Key Competencies), and “using tools interactively,” “acting autonomously” and “interacting in heterogeneous groups” were selected as key competencies. To determine the effectiveness of the program, 95 students from the selected demonstration schools located in seven municipal or provincial areas participated in the program in the second semester of 2015, and a pretest and a posttest were carried out to look for any possible changes in creativity and career maturity. As for its effectiveness on creativity, TTCT(Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking) Figural Forms A and B were used. The instrument used to assess the effectiveness of the program on career maturity was Korea Employment Information Service(2006)'s Career Maturity Inventory, and a pretest and a posttest also were conducted to see if there were any changes in career planning, attitude, self-knowledge, career behavior and independence. City size, school size, type of participation and gender were selected as the major analysis criteria to discuss career education divide between urban and rural communities, which is pointed out as the biggest problem with the exam-free semester program. As a result of analyzing the effectiveness of the program, the middle school students who participated in the program showed statistically significant improvements in every subfactor of creativity including fluency, originality, title abstractness, elaboration and resistance to premature closure. To be specific, they made the best progress in the area of resistance to premature closure(t=12.397), followed by originality (t=9.003) and elaboration(t=7.142). Concerning posttest average scores by city size, the students from urban communities got the highest score (29.28), followed by eup(22.08) and myeon(20.44).
