미디어융합디자인을 통한 자유학기제 창의진로교육 프로그램개발

초록

"Labor, capital, knowledge and information" were the major elements to create added value over the past four decades, and "innovative technology and creative idea" characterized by creativity and convergence are emerging as new added-value generators due to the limitations of ‘Strategy for catch-up economy’. Under the circumstances, receptive learning and learning by rote should be avoided, and career exploration education that aims at fostering future-oriented competencies to properly respond to future society should be introduced, instead. In this study, a creative career education program for a free semester operation was developed by adopting a media-convergence design in an effort to nurture middle school students of the Republic of Korea who would pursue a dream and show what they could do. And educational materials(workbooks) and a teacher manual (guidebook) for the program were developed to improve the workability of the program among teachers. Finally, "All Tone," which is a web platform for the community of students and teachers, was developed to expedite information sharing and the spread of creative career education. The purpose of this study was, therefore, to develop a creative career education program by adopting a media-convergence design in preparation for the full-scale introduction of the free semester operation in 2016 in an attempt to make a contribution to education of the elite who could take advantage of new IT in a creative manner.
