Kinetic Modes of Electrostatic Surface Waves in a Lorentzian Plasma

초록

Various kinetic modes of electrostatic surface wave propagating on the surface of semi-bounded, non-thermal plasma are derived by using the Vlasov-Maxwell equations. The plasma is uniform, isotropic, collisonless and unmagnetized. Surface modes including Langmuir type and ion-acoustic mode are obtained and compared with those in Maxwellian plasma.
