비평의 관점에서 본 1980년대 한국 건축전문지의 편집구성에 대한 연구

초록

In Korea, there were huge socio-economic changes in 1980s. Therefore, Korean architecture magazines needed to improve their quality in order to keep up with architecture’s quantitative expansion. This promoted a professional architecture magazine to not only serve as an informational document that introduces architects and projects, but also as a ‘professional review’ that forms a place of discourse. Existing journals such as 『Space』, 『Ggumim』, and 『Architectural Culture』 switched their editorial style and partially launched a critique section. However, 『Architecture & Environment』, printed in 1984, was the first publication to be named as “Architectural Criticism Magazine” 『Architecture & Environment』 was a magazine that actively attempted to initiate changes in content and format.
