통일 시대 문학교육의 한 방법, 간문화적 역량을 중심으로－황석영의『바리데기』 를 중심으로－

초록

This paper explored the possibility of using Hwang, Seok-young’s novel, 『Baridegi』as a material for literature education in the reunification era. For this study, the selection standard of literary materials in the reunification era which is based on intercultural competence, was established. First, the concept of intercultural competence was considered and this was divided into knowledge, function and attitude. Here, knowledge, function and attitude are focused on the educational contents ‘through’ literature rather than the contents ‘regarding’ literature. ‘Bari’ is the character who helps learners reach an empathic understanding and restore a pity for diaspora and homogeneity. 『Baridegi』 can facilitate communication between the South and the North through literary works by reducing resistance of both South and North Korean learners, since it is possible to start with the 『Baridegi』 folk tale which can be accepted commonly. Therefore, 『Baridegi』is good to be used as a material for literature education in the reunification era.
