초연결시대 미술교육의 (비)존재 경계 탐구: 시각장애 미술교육과의 비대칭적 소통의 필요성과 그 잠재가능성

초록

This study started from the awareness that art educators should consider more than ways to use new technologies into art education in this super-connected ages. In his study, it is examined whether there are objects of art education in which art education has not even attempted to connect or those who have been connected but are still out of boundary of current art education, and it is attempted to explore Lotman’s cultural semiotics and discuss related cases in art education for the blind. In order to find a better way to connect the blind with visual-oriented art education, (1) the meaning of boundaries, (2) new recognition of boundaries, and (3) strategies of crossing the boundaries between two different cultures within semiotic border were examined. The result of this study shows evidences that art education for the blind has been operated in a modified way called 'inclusion exclusion', cases showing the meaning and characteristics of art beyond their boundaries, and examples of ‘New Art Education’ derived from the boundary area.
