허브공항 환승관광 프로그램 활성화를 위한 사례연구 - 해외 허브공항 사례들을 중심으로 -

초록

Hub airports are the gateway to the city and the core infrastructure of industries, which are closely related to job creation effect, national economy, and global competitiveness. Since the transfer rate is important as an indicator of hub airport, various methods should be sought to attract transfer passengers. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the characteristics of transfer tourism programs at major hub airports in the world and to derive implications through case studies of transfer tourism programs at famous hub airports abroad. For the purpose of the study, the case study method of Yin (2016) suitable for the question of how and why was used. As a result of the study, first, in the transfer tourism program at famous overseas hub airports, urban accessibility was high except for Narita. Second, As the history of the country becomes longer, cultural experience programs where you can feel the history an tradition are being activated. The theoretical significance of this study is to contribute to the theoretical expansion by grasping the characteristics of transfer tourism programs of famous overseas hub airports. In practice, it is meaningful to present policy measures to enhance the transfer tourism program at Incheon International Airport.
