Serum matrix metalloproteinases in acute lacunar infarction patients with cerebral microbleeds on T2*-weighted gradient-echo MRI.
초록
Recent advance of gradient echo T2*-weighted magnetic resonance imaging technique suggests that microbleeds are associated with acute lacunar infarction. Matrix metalloproteinases(MMPs) is related with blood brain barrier breakdown and hemorrhagic taransformation in ischemic stroke. However, it has not been evaluated whether increased MMPs level is associated with microbleeds in acute lacunar infarction. This study was performed to evaluate the relationship between MMPs and microbleeds in lacunar infarction. Method : Fifty-six consecuituve patients with acute lacunar infarction were performed T2*-weighted MRI and were taken for serum MMPs level within 48hours after stroke onset. The patients with microbleeds and without microbleeds group were compared clinical parameters (age, sex, admission time, sampling time blood pressure, glucose level, blood pressure level, triglyceride, HDL, LDL, hematocrit, leukocyte, fibrinogen, aPTT, PT) , MMP2, MMP-9
