남북 역사 전문용어의 어종 분석과 통합 제언

초록

This study analyzes morphological characteristics of 2,049 inter-Korean historical terminology extracted from the middle and high school history textbooks of North and South Korea. First, the two Koreas are divided into two types, the same form and the different form, and the same form was divided into fully morphological consistent terminology and partial morphological consistent terminology. As a result, most of the terms in the history of North and South Korea are consistent with each other, and more than 94% of them are Sino-Korean. In addition, Sino-Korean occupied an overwhelming proportion among the different forms. Loanword was so infrequent that it could be confirmed that neither South nor North Korea preferred in the field of history. In short, the overwhelming use of Sino-Korean is a common feature of terminology in the field of North and South Korea, which has strong nationalistic tendency. Therefore, this paper aims to present the Sino-Korean as a new direction of the integration of terminology in the history of North and South by taking advantage of the homogeneity of both sides
