고등학교 문학 영역의 전통과 특질 관련 성취기준의 교재화 양상에 대한 비판적 고찰

초록

This study examines the limitations and loopholes of “Tradition and Characteristic of Korean Literature” which is taught as obvious knowledge in the field of education. This study tries to present the question – Are characteristics of Korean literature presented in the educational discourse can be the genuine characteristics of Korean literature, and is it possible to define such characteristics through reasonable regulation. To this end, this study reviewed the characteristics of Korean literature and the criticisms of it, which had been presented by the fellow researchers. In addition, this study reviewed the limitations of the characteristic that have been conducted in the academia until now. The purpose of this study is to analyze the contents of the past curriculum and to clarify the background and process of ‘tradition and characteristic of Korean literature’. In the history of the curriculum, importance of this objective has been highlighted. In addition, this study checks current textbooks and examines how textbooks are realizing this curriculum objective. In the textbooks, ‘Tradition and Characteristics of Korean Literature’ are ambiguous. So far, this content has been presented according to the researchers’ personal perspectives. In education, this curriculum objective has been formally addressed because it must be reflected. The objective of education about the characteristics of Korean literature should be fundamentally reviewed again. It can be removed or integrated with educational objectives on universality and specificity of literature. There should be further discussion on this.
