근린상점 접근성의 공간적 형평성 분석: 서울시사업체조사 (2006~2014) 자료를 중심으로

Neighborhood store is an important factor that affects the quality of life for local residents. This study measures the spatial equity in accessibility of the neighborhood stores using establishment location information from the census data on establishments in Seoul from 2006 to 2014. We use GIS to calculate accessibility of the nearest neighborhood store and estimated income from housing price. Then we employ concentration index to estimate spatial equity. Results indicate as followings. First, accessibility has an equal distribution in Seoul. Second, accessibility shows equitable distribution but it goes to aggravate equity. In addition, the accessibility of neighboring stores is not equitable by sub-region without east-south region. Lastly concentration indexes are different per business type. Convenience store is the only type that has unfair distribution but has improved equity. Approach to the welfare of the residents and awareness about this phenomenon are needed.
