지역연계 미술교육의 개념화를 위한 소고

초록

The discussion of region-based network in education is not new, and researches on network or partnership has continued. Nevertheless, the walls of the school are still high, and the perception of region-school relations often comes short of going beyond utilizing human and material resources. This study aimed at exploring the questions of what region-based network should mean in art education and what direction it should take in the future. Considering this problem, this study conducted the interdisciplinary literature review on “what is the meaning of 'region' to be connected to the school?”, “what can the school expect by building collaborative relationships with the region?” First, I conceptualized the region as a historical and cultural place and examined the discourse of participatory art education. In addition, I discussed the concept of network and collaboration as a key element at the intersection of region and art. Based on the analysis of precedent case studies, this study conceptualized network as a autonomous learning structure and partnership as mutual relation between people. The significance of this study could be found that it expanded our understanding of regional-based network as the formation of a complex semantic web rather than a unilateral link generating a extended discourse of region-based art education.
