초록

This study intends to analyze principal's greetings indicated on homepage of primary․middle․high school to analyze the structure and function of greetings and to analyze what is pursued by school education through feature of vocabulary indicated in school greetings. The structure of school greetings is typified in the structure of ‘slogan + photo + first greeting + introduction + goal + resolution + request + final greeting + sender’. In functional aspect, principal's greetings definitely shows function of introducing school and informing project, function to responsibly educate students and function of appeal to request the community or parents to cooperate positively. Checking the feature of vocabulary indicated in the greetings, there are many messages which encourage students to realize their dream in the future with future-oriented and positive vocabularies.
