인터넷과 여성
초록
The purpose of this study was to delve into S. Plant's cyberfeminism and problems with it in an effort to shed light on the feministic meaning of the Internet. Plant argues that the cyberspace of the Internet is more advantageous for women than for men, and that it is a feministic space where the control of patriarchism fades away. The reason is that the complex, connective, touching and non-hierarchical structure of the Internet is feminine. However, there are apparently patriarchical phenomena in cyberspace, though there are also positive phenomena that coincide with his theory. Plant believes that the gender-related features of system determine the gender of its users, that femininity is the very feminism favorable for women, and that the structure of system transforms the structure of people's consciousness. But in this study, his beliefs were thought to be wrong. It's attempted to prove that Plant's cyberfeminism was an excessive optimism, and to look into the feministic level of the Internet.
