다문화청소년과 비다문화청소년의 연령에 따른 자살위험 비교연구

초록

This study examines differences between children of multicultural families and those whose parents are native Koreans in terms of the risk of suicide, and how the differences vary depending on age. Analyses were performed using data from the Youth Health Risk Behavior Web-based Survey between 2011 and 2016. Results revealed that the risk of suicide among adolescents of multicultural families were positively associated with their age. But the positive association between suicidal risk and age was not significant among adolescents of native families. The findings of the current study imply that family type(multicultural family) and age have cumulative effects on the risk of suicide among adolescents.
