Synthesis of Metal nanoparticles and Metal/Conducting polymer composites through Redox reaction between Organic materials and Metal ions

초록

Metal reduction by organic materials is slow and thus the formation of metal nanoparticles are controllable. In this study, noble metal nanoparticles and noble metal/conducting polymer composites were prepared by the redox reaction between metal ions and organic materials such as ethylene glycol, poly(N-vinyl pyrroline), conducting polymers. The characteristics of the composites were investigated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), FT-IR, XRD and TGA. The formation mechanisms were investigated by controlling the experimental conditions.
