항공사 복직승무원의 양육스트레스 요인과 잔류의도, 정신건강에 관한 연구: 배우자 지지의 조절 효과와 함께

초록

The purpose of this study is to verify the causes of parenting stresses that reinstated cabin crew experience after returning from maternity leave and to verify the effect of parenting stress on their mental health and decision for changing jobs through the moderating effect of spouse support. The literature reviews of the preceding study and Focus Group Interview(FGI), which was conducted for 15 female flight attendants working in domestic airlines, presented five major causes of change: fatigue, multi-role conflict, non-parental care anxiety, separation anxiety of child, and cost of children. In addition, the research model was composed of subsequent variables such as parenting stress, intention to stay, and mental health, as well as variables that moderate spouse support. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis (Cronbach's β coefficient), structural equation analysis, bootstrap verification, and multi- group analysis. The analysis results are as follows: first, it was proved that among the five variables, fatigue and non-parental care anxiety have a significant impact on parenting stress. Second, parenting stress has a significant effect on mental health and intention to stay in a current job. Third, spouse support has a moderating effect on parenting stress and mental health. This study has academic value in identifying the major stress factors of reinstated crews reflecting the professional characteristics of flight service. Also, it implies the importance of expanding quality public childcare facilities and services for workers with non-standard work schedules.
