대학생의 낙관성, 비관성, 소명의식과 일의 의미 및 삶의 의미 간의 구조적 관계모형 검증

초록

The purpose of this present study was two folds; 1) to test if optimism, pessimism and calling would influence on work meaning and meaning in life how the path would reach. 2) to examine the relative effects of optimism, pessimism and calling on work meaning and meaning in life. For this study, 277 undergraduate students were surveyed. The data was analyzed by using AMOS and SPSS. Results were as follows. First, structural equation modeling analyses indicated that optimism and pessimism influenced calling and calling showed a significant effect on work meaning and meaning in life. Optimism and pessimism were not directly influenced on work meaning and meaning in life. Second, calling more accounted for work meaning and meaning in life among predictors including optimism, pessimism, and calling. For improving work meaning and meaning in life for university students, this study believed that there is need to consider dealing with calling. Implications and limitations of current study are discussed.
