한국가족치료학회지 분석을 통한 가족치료 연구의 동향분석: 비치료연구를 중심으로

Objectives: Since 1993, the Korean Journal of Family Therapy (KJFT) has been publishing research of various topics and types. Research trend analyses of the studies published in the KJFT were made in 2008 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the association. However, upon the 30th anniversary, the need to shed light on the current status of KJFT research was clear. This study aimed to understand the features and trends of studies published in the KJFT for the last 10 years (2008-2018), with a particular emphasis on non-clinical studies, and to offer useful tips for the development of non-clinical studies on family and family therapy. Methods: A total of 155 published non-clinical research articles were analyzed. These articles were classified as either empirical or review studies, and empirical studies were further classified as either studies using quantitative methods or studies using qualitative methods. Further analyses were made on studies in each group (quantitative empirical studies, qualitative empirical studies, and review studies) to illuminate characteristics in research topics/questions, targets, research methods, and analytic methods. Results: Features and trends of non-clinical studies over the last 10 years were illuminated. Conclusions: The findings gave rise to important research tips for the development of the field of family therapy.
