초록

Poly(lactic acid, PLA) belong to the family of aliphatic polyesters commonly made from α-hydroxy acids. PLA is a thermoplastic, high strength, high modulus polymer used in sutures and dental, orthopedic, and drug delivery systems. Electrospinning is a unique technique for ultrafine fibers with diameters in submicrometers. Electrospun membranes have high specific surface area and high porosity so that they can be applied to membranes, scaffolds, sensors etc.In this study, the morphology and phisical properties of aligned PLA membranes with the co-solvents such as chloroform (CF, CHCl3)/methanol(Me, CH3OH) and CF/ethanol (Et, C2H5OH ). We believe that the physical properties of the solvents play an important role in this process and the solvent volatility plays a critical role in the pore formation process.
