초록

For the safe and economical use of high-performance materials (200 MPa of compressive strength of concrete, 570 MPa of tensile strength of steel) as construction material for the hybrid coupled wall system, this study evaluate the effect of high-performance material to the coupled wall system using finite element analysis. Various material models were investigated with material test results and well predicted model was used for the finite element model. From the investigation, main design parameter of coupled shear wall system, embedded length of coupling beam was significantly reduced to half and quarter of ASCE design specification length. And these high-performance materials show very high energy dissipation capacity under reversed cyclic loading.
