품행장애 청소년의 부모 교육적 상담 사례연구: 부모양육태도 변화를 중심으로

This study is a qualitative case study to explore the parents educational counseling experiences of parents of adolescents with conduct disorder. The data for this study consisted of voice recorded transcripts and notes taken from 36 parent counseling sessions, 1 follow-up session, 3 children counseling sessions and psychological test result. The parent educational counseling process can be analyzed as first, objective understanding of children, second, restoration of parent-child trust, third, rebuilding parental authority, and fourth, practicing parent-child communication. During this process, there was a positive change in parenting attitudes and interaction methods and the adolescents stopped their behavior problems while starting to practice self-reflection. This study showed that parent educational counseling could be effective in reducing the disorder symptoms even if the child did not participate in the session.
