초록

The present paper aims to study thoughts about the mermaid of the old people and understand mermaid's figures through the mermaid's symbol of Korean Chinese Poetry. This work ultimately will lead to help which manufactures the cultural contents week boil a mermaid relation narration today. Kyoju, Kyocho, Kyosil were used in Korean Chinese poetry most frequently. Kyoju is mermaid's tears. When mermaid cries, the tears becomes to beads. Kyoju was written to express the most beautiful things. And they were used to focus veracity. Kyocho is the silk which the mermaid forms, it has the symbol of unchangeable thing. People wanted to keep the most important words, landscapes by writing on Kyocho. And They likened clean, whie and beautiful silk to Kyocho. Kyosil is the palace of mermaids. Poets described Kyosil to a luxury, brilliant and secret place. Koysil was covert and was decorated with a lot of jewelry. So Kyosil is not different from Taoist hermit's world. Taoist hermit's world, the sea King's palace and Kyosil were all much the same in images but different in living main agent. The old ancient people believed in Kyosil, but it was made by mankind's dream. When they were burdened by life or missed an unknown world, they desired that space. If we make good use of Kyoju, Kyocho, Kyosil, we can make our own mermaid narratives and use then as cultural contents.
