Fingerstroke-Level Model: 모바일 게이밍 사용자인터페이스 개발을 위한 인터랙션 속도 예측모델

초록
Market share of the mobile games are increasing in the game market with radical incremental of demands of smartphone. Following this trend, game companies are trying to develop the inter-networking games which provide concurrent access between PC and mobile(one source multi platform-based game). However, current mobile gaming UI has fundamental disadvantages comparing to PC gaming UI. It makes mobile users cannot compete with PC users on an equal basis. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel mobile gaming UI after comparing and analyzing performance of current mobile gaming UI with PC gaming UI. We modified the Keystroke-Level Model(KLM), a traditional interactive systems evaluation tool, then made the Fingerstroke-Level Model(FLM) which can be applied as a mobile system evaluation tool. By using the FLM, we identified drawbacks of current mobile gaming UI, improved it and then proposed a new mobile gaming UI competing with PC-based game style.
