아동생활시설 미성년후견제도 실태에 대한 탐색적 연구

초록

Children have basic fundamental rights to development and protection, which parents have responsibility to ensure. If children are not subject to the parental responsibility, minor guardianship is supposed to be open. This study explores the guardianship of children who are living in institutions including group-home. For this study, 235 institutions and group-homes for children were investigated nationwide. Structured questionnaire was used as a research instrument. FGI with service providers working in institutions for children were implemented to make sure the study results. The characteristics of children, the way ro work guardianship of children, the process of guardianship, the scope of guardianship, and alternatives to guardianship were investigated. The study findings suggest strategies and implications for guardianship of children living in institutions.
