초록

The betterment projects for existing deteriorated residence have not reflected social-cultural locality. They merely have focused on physical environment improvement but also have lacked a socioeconomic support system for residents. While government introduced diffusion model of residential environment betterment to solve this problems, there has been little possibility that brings together on the concrete policy and process in order to draw residents` participation. The way of improving diffusion model of residential environment improvement is to establish new driving process and system involving participation of residents in each step: diagnosis, conceptual plan, action plan, implementation and so on. In addition, exploring new method for a socioeconomic support program and system are essential to make up for the institutional problem and limits of current residential environment betterment projects.
