Structural Performance of Ultra-High-Performance Concrete Beams Reinforced with GFRP Bar

초록

In this study, the flexural behavior of Ultra-High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) beams reinforced with Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) bar was examined, and their deflection at serviceability limit state was predicted. Test results indicated that excellent deflection resistance and ductility were obtained for UHPC beams with GFRP bars due to its strain-hardening characteristics. In addition, the service deflection of GFRP bar-reinforced UHPC beams was well predicted by using equation of effective moment of inertia proposed by ACI 440.1R-15 and by considering tensile stress block.
