중학생이 지각한 부모의 양육태도와 자기결정성 학습동기 간의 관계 : 정서경험의 매개효과를 중심으로

초록

This study was to identify the mediating effects of emotional experience on relationship between perceived parenting attitudes and self-determined motivation for learning. Major statistic methods to analyze the collective data were Pearson's correlation analysis, Multiple regression and Hierarchical regression analysis. The questionnaires were administered to 515 middle school students. The results were as follows. First, parents' affective and overprotective attitudes and children's positive emotion positively related with self-determined motivation for learning, but parents' rejective attitudes and children's negative emotion negatively related with motivation. Second, the perceived parenting attitudes have an influence on self-determined motivation for learning. Affection, rejection and overprotection are the affecting factors listed in order. With regard to emotional experience, negative emotion has a bigger impact than positive one. Lastly, children's positive emotions was mediating the relationship between parents' affective attitudes and self-determined motivation for learning, negative emotion was also mediating the relationship between parents' overprotective, rejective attitudes and motivation. This suggests that parents' loving care and affectionate parenting attitudes can influence the self-determined motivation for learning of their children, with the children's positive emotional experience having mediating effects. This study is significant in that the factors and their relations are empirically reviewed. In addition, it provides approach methods for academic counseling and parent education.
