컨벤션산업정책 관련집단의 정책단계별 참여의사에 관한 연구

초록

The Convention Industry Policy of Korea substantially started with the enactment of the Korea Convention Industry Promotion Law. Now, the convention industry policy is focused on the participation of private sector and the reinforcement of public-private network. Convention industry is a composite industry and has various related interest groups. Thus cooperative partnership between these related groups is indispensible to the success of convention policy. The study is focused on the structure of policy network of related groups of the convention industry policy, and aims at providing theoretical and political basis to encourage related groups to participate in policy process. The study examined conceptual ideas and previous researches on convention industry, its related policy, and policy participation. Survey data were collected from PCOs and people in convention facilities, CVBs, and convention related associations. One-way ANOVA and multiple regression were used for the analysis. The results of the study revealed that the related groups' attitude toward policy participation and methods of policy participation showed difference by their organizational characteristics. The related groups' attitude to policy participation and the degree of participation by different methods were identified to influence their intention of policy participation.
