문화콘텐츠 내 AI 기술문화 왜곡과 융합교육 기반 비판적 미디어 리터러시의 다학제적 대응

초록

This study examines how artificial intelligence (AI) images in popular culture are formed, stereotyped, and distorted, and identifies how such distortions hinder an accurate understanding of real technologies. Repeated AI narratives in films, television dramas, and animations often involve exaggeration and myth-making, deepening the gap between AI’s actual mode of existence and public perception. To address this, the study emphasizes the need for AI literacy education and proposes an educational orientation grounded in science and technology culture studies and information ethics. In particular, it designs an instructional model for general education in universities that integrates critical media literacy with Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Problem scenarios are developed using selected popular culture content, which serve as the basis for a pilot curriculum. This research aims to foster an educational environment that enables learners to develop a balanced understanding of AI and a critical perspective, thereby providing a practical instructional model to mitigate distorted perceptions of AI.
