초록

This study aims to exploratorily identify various risk factors that may occur during activities on artificial turf fields and to propose strategic improvement directions to ensure safety. To this end, individual interviews were conducted with users and experts of artificial turf fields to derive risk factors and their sub-categories, and an Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) was performed on the derived items targeting users. As a result of the analysis, the risk factors were classified into five domains: surface safety performance, field maintenance and management, users’ safety awareness, facilities and surrounding environment, and the artificial turf system, and four strategic types were presented according to the relative importance and performance within each domain. By presenting domain-specific improvement measures to ensure the safety of artificial turf field users, this study differs from previous artificial turf-related research that mainly focused on product performance or physical characteristics, in that it derives risk factors that may occur during activities on artificial turf fields and proposes practical strategies based on them. The findings are expected to be utilized as foundational data for establishing systematic management systems and standardized policy development in the future.
