북촌한옥 실내공간의 전통과 현대적 융합특성

초록

This study sets the basis of Bukchon Hanok Village which has free and various change pattern according to using of Hanok as a non-designated cultural asset and can make to feel traditional atmosphere in central Seoul. The study conducted analysis of an expressing method according to each spatial feature and a spatial feature for each expressing method on 5 cases which was constructed after 2000's. Spatial feature was analyzed from composition upon Chae-dividing, an expression of a line and a face, transition space, openness and occlusive and chain of custody, The expression methods were divided into direct expression, transformational expression and abstract expression, for analysis of expression methods of individual characteristics and elements. As a result, in most cases, abstract expression applied to the detachment of 'Chae', transformational expression applied to the line and surface, direct expression applied to the transition space, and the openness and closure, and transformational and abstract expression applied to the continuity. Also, direct expression was adopted most in the transition space, transformational expression was adapted most in the line and surface, and abstract expression was adopted most in the detachment of 'Chae'. many of the traditional buildings only focused on patterns and formative expressions of tradition and failed to embody the fundamental traditionality. A proper realization of traditionality means to modernize and express the meaning of traditionality and fundamental spirit, not imitating or removing the old. In modern Hanok, reconfiguration and re-creation of tradition can be made by expressing them modernly based on traditional meaning and fundamental spirit rather than copying or throwing away old things. To do this, spatial feature of traditional Hanok should be recreated for functional aspect and modern life style by modernizing it.
