초록

The purpose of this study is to verify the structural relationship between the career identity, emotional engagement, meaning of work, and decent work of irregular worker and to suggest measures for the human resource development of irregular workers. To this end, a survey was conducted on 300 irregular workers working in domestic general companies, and structural equation modeling analysis was conducted using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 21.0 based on the data of 297 people. The results of the study showed that the relationship between career identity and emotional engagement was not significant. It was confirmed that the meaning of work and decent work positively mediated the relationship between career identity and emotional engagement. In particular, the meaning of work had a stronger positive effect on emotional engagement than decent work. These results suggest that it is important to develop the career identity of irregular workers and that this can promote emotional engagement by allowing members to feel a sense of meaning in their work. These results show that organizational systems and support are important in developing the career identity of irregular workers and fostering the perception that work is meaningful and a decent.
