해양관광개발에 대한 영향인식과 효과인식이 지역애착과 개발지지에 미치는 영향

초록

The purpose of this research was to examine the relationship among the residents’ attitude, their community attachment and support for tourism development based on Social Exchange Theory. Specifically, residents’ attitude was classified into two categories: perception of existing tourism development impact and recognition on the effect of new tourism development. The empirical data were collected from residents of Udo in Jeju Island, and frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted for this study. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that recognition on the economic effect and perception of environmental impact were the most influential factors for supporting tourism development. Also, residents’ support for tourism development was more influenced by recognition on effect than perception of impact. It can be interpreted that residents was more affected by expectations on future impact than result of existing development.
