CIPP 평가모형을 적용한 대학 e-러닝 영어전용강좌(EMI)의 학습만족도 연구

초록

The ability to speak English has been more important as due to globalization. Universities in Korea recognized importance of English education so they have opened EMI(English-Medium Instruction). EMI has many advantages that university can improve their international competitiveness and students can learn not only subject matter but also English communication skill. Moreover, e-learning EMI can improve efficiency and effectiveness of learning by letting students control pace of learning and do self-directed learning. Therefore, this study is to investigate learning environment factor and satisfaction in e-learning EMI and analyzed influencing factors in e-learning EMI. CIPP model is used as research tool for evaluation. The research participants are 218 students who were taking e-learning EMI in H University and used factor analysis, descriptive, Multiple Regression Analysis. The major findings of this study are as follows. First, the students are highly satisfied with e-learning EMI and aware the importance. Second, Among 10 learning environment factors, ‘English ability that society requires’, ‘learning process management’, ‘online contents’, and ‘learning content’ have most positive influence on e-learning EMI. Third, ‘on-line community’. ‘on-line tutor’, ‘English ability that university requires’ have lest positive influence on e-learning EMI. Forth, After dividing into superior group and inferior group according to learning satisfaction and analyzing each group’s learning satisfaction, the factor that has the biggest difference between former and latter group is ‘on-line community.’In conclusion, this study analyzed e-learning EMI management and satisfaction according to learner’s awareness level and draw opinions on how to develop and improve e-learning EMI.
