독거노인의 미충족 의료경험 관련 요인

초록

The purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing unmet healthcare needs by type among elderly who lived alone. This study was secondary analysis based on the data from the 2015 community health survey with the subjects 14,787 elderly who lived alone. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, Rao-Scott chi-square test, t-test and logistic regression to take account of complex samples analysis. 10.0% of subjects had the experiences of unmet healthcare needs. It was determined that influencing factors included monthly household income, level of education, self-rated stress, perceived health status, and health related quality of life. The reason of unmet healthcare needs were classified as 3 categories of health status, economic burden, accessibility. The health status was influenced by gender, economic activity, and health related quality of life. The economic burden was influenced by monthly household income, self-rated stress, and health related quality of life. The accessibility was influenced by age, gender, level of education, economic activity, self-rated stress, perceived health status, and health related quality of life. Therefore, these findings show that factors related by type should be considered when preparing plans to reduce the experiences of unmet healthcare needs among elderly living alone.
