Intraoperative events affecting outcome after early aneurysmal surgery

Poor prognosis were demontrated in patients with severe grain edema in whom cortical resection was needed, with atherosclerosis in aneurysmal neck portion, and/or with wide neck in which clipping compromised parent artery. However, premature rupture, the use of more than two clips, and/or repetitive clipping did not affect the outcome.
