초록

Polymer nanocomposites based on Multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) and poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) nanocomposites were prepared by a melt blending process. The non-isothermal crystallization behavior of the PET/MWCNT nanocomposites was conducted by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) at different cooling rates, and various MWCNT contents. The crystallization peak temperature of the PET/MWCNT nanocomposites decreased with increasing cooling rate and increased with MWCNT content. Analysis of the non-isothermal crystallization behavior was carried out the Ozawa, the Avrami, and the combined theory. The combined method was successfully described the non-isothermal crystallization process of PET/MWCNT nanocomposites. The nucleation activity of PET/MWCNT nanocomposites was increased with the incorporation of MWCNT, while activation energy for crystallization was found to be significantly higher in PET/MWCNT nanocomposites than those of PET. The incorporation of MWCNT significantly improved the thermal stability and mechanical properties of the PET/MWCNT nanocomposites.
