대학생 말하기 교육의 현황과 개선 방안

초록

The most important ability, which is demanded to modern people in these days, is just the communication ability. As the speech culture in the West according to internationalization and globalization is adopted, a social interest in the speaking ability is getting higher. Due to this, the speaking ability is functioning as the core competitiveness even in selecting competent people. Even the university tends to be gradually changed according to an increase and demand for necessity of speaking education in this way. However, there are still many parts to be improved. In case of domestic universities, even the communication-related education such as writing and speaking is being further strengthened as an interest in culture education is getting higher. However, there is still tendency of being biased mainly just to writing. It is the real situation of being very lacking in a plan for the systematized speaking education. In case of foreign universities, the speaking and writing education is being carried out in an integrated and balanced way. It is made the phase with the course of‘basic-deepening-connection with major.’Thus, it is formed so that students can receive systematic education through all 4 years. Accordingly, even the speaking education at university needs to be expanded to be carried out according to social demand and change. There is a need of being imminently improved the stepwise integrated education, the diversification of instructional contents, and the standardization of teaching-method module.
