대안적 부모교육 프로그램의 개념적 관계망 개발을 위한 질적 연구

초록

This study is to develop the web of conceptual relations by confirming the orientations of a alternative parent education program through a qualitative research method, and by discussing the relations with previous researches and theories. For this purpose, in-depth person-to-person interviews were conducted with 7 research participants who have been parents and parent education instructors. Adopting Colaizzi’s (1978) analytic guideline, there were 33 themes, 14 theme clusters, and 4 categories. The 4 categories were revealed: ‘purposes’ associated with happiness of parents, ‘systems' related to curriculum and professionalism, ‘contents' related to role of parents, and ‘operations' in aspects of lifelong educational characteristics. This result was particularly relevant to Heidegger's fundamental ontology, Frankl's logotherapy, and Schön's practical epistemology. The alternative parent education program was based on understanding of the parents themselves and their children. And It was a process of insight and practice on the mutual influence relations in the complex parenting context. Based on this result, we made recommendations on parent education and parent education programs at individual, social, and national levels.
