The effect of perceived taem person-environment fit on team processes and performance

초록

This study examined the effects of three types of perceived team-level person-environment (P-E) fit (i.e., person-organization (P-O), person-group (P-G), and person-job (P-J) fit) on team processes and performance. A particular emphasis was placed on the mediating effect of team processes as well as the moderating effect of task interdependence. Data were collected from 56 work teams in 3 Korean firms. Results suggested that the three types of fit were positively associated with team processes, but not related to team performance. In addition, task interdependence was found to moderate the relationships between perceived team P-O fit and team processes and between perceived team P-J fit and team processes.
